The Doc first came across it on BBC Radio 4 "Poetry Please". You'll find plenty of "settings to music" of it on www, usually Death to a Poem! But not as fatal as the truly dreadful settings of the Dowson poem above . .

ReplyDeleteI'm a poet who visits schools not a teacher although I used to work in special needs as I've personal experience. I think it helps children to know that having a disability like dyslexia doesn't stop you from becoming a writer.
