Poetry Bus. 18th October.

NanU encourages us to leave our writing room to pen this week's poem.

Springs Eternal

Alone in the gap between two stools
where lovers fall - (the fools!), in the space
between devotion's rock and the hard place
of your disdain; between Old Devil
yearning and Love's deep-sea blues,
I'm learning patience. In time my lines will spark
poems from the stony chambers of your heart.

  1. Well, this I certainly wasn't expecting! Humour, satire and now a beautiful poem of unattainable love. Very impressive.

  2. The ticket machine is working fine now, it seems, as it lead me to this bus depot. Patience is a virtue wherever it may be found...

I hope your spark plugs are working, but not sure they will produce the requisite poems...Certainly not one as beautiful as that which you've written here.

WV's turned off. Glad to see this is catching on. I don't want my readers to work for nothing for folk whose OCR software doesn't work properly.
